Gerhardt attempts to draw a new Pattern using the Jewel of Judgement, doing so at the Pattern in Arcadia.
While this happens we check on Merlin who was doing something and find him in very rough shape as a massive shadowstorm is destroying the shadow he was in and those around it. Fiona attempts to stablize things while Silas takes Merlin to Medicus One, the high tech medical satellite in the Phoenix Empire He puls Lowen (or half of him anyway) through to help but Half-Lowen wants to go back to whwere Merlin was, and via trump they go back. Silas gets a call from a doctor who he left a trump wtih and the doctor screams and killed by something. Silas tries to trump back and does, calling Jericho for help.
Meanwhile Gerhardt finishes drawing that pattern uses that pattern to teleport himself to Merlin.
The destruction is caused by Merlin, in his demon/primal form.
Eventually Gerhardt and Isabelle are able to get through to Merlin and get him to back down.
