- Gerhardt takes the Flame. This loses his pattern so he walks the primal pattern where Isabel had planted seedlings in the center, which are now 3 trees laden with 5 delicious looking fruits (15 total).
- When he gets to the middle, he trumps Isabelle in , who eats one of the fruit. It is the most delicious thing she has ever tasted. She also feels great, and does not want any more.

Morganna is extremely grateful and asks that Silas ask for something in return. He initially just asks that she not reveal this place to anyone, but she eventually says she needs to do more to make up for this gift.
The tree is the Tree of Life. Essentially all who eat a fruit are now effectively immortal, and have their own existance/reality apart from a power like Pattern or Logrus. A sixth being is affected in that Morganna is with child and that child has also been made immortal.
Eventually everyone trumps out.
Jason spoke with Bastiano who had asked him to acquire Shireen. He later trumps Silas and asks after her but Silas says she is in hiding. Jason then reveals tha he believes Llewella is a member of the Eyes of the Serpent, a secret society whose members have an eye plucked out and replaced by a very realistic duplicate (but he can tell with Eidelon. He tells Silas that Llewella has tried to kill him. Silas arranges a meeting with Caine at a Rabbit Bar out in shadow where they once met Finnegan. Jason informs them of what he learned, then is interrupted by an Icon call from Lord Bastiano. He asks to come through and says he has Llewella with him who also wants to come through but Jason says no. So Bastiano comes through alone and says it was all a mistake and Llewella wants to apologize (a very big deal in Amber). Bastiano isn't revealing stuff but says it was a mistake and that it has been somewhat rectified and they are working on who created the contagion that killed some of Vala's guards that Jason had been using.
Eventually an agreement is made for some clandestine channels of communication and we all go to process what we learned.
