One of the crew of the Destiny. Capable of piloting the shuttle, doing repair work on the ship and other day-to-day tasks of the ship. Is definitely NOT a "redshirt", and will not go on extremely hazardous assignments without substantial hazard pay (and even then would not go on something that is a suicide mission).
