In the Words of Idina Menzel
- Natasha - Cassandra is not well
- Jericho - Chaos Serpent re: revenge, lemme think
- Isabelle and Ulfr - Dworkin's tower, trump door, Cassandra's dreams
- Isabelle will make a trump of the destroyed tower
- Elodie - Bill Roth re: republic, protection of the Pattern
- Silas - Hacking through the forest, it starts screaming :(
- a sentient plant thing (the Green aka "it") uses a facehugger to communicate, says shroudlings can fight vampires
- "It" takes Silas to the shroudling it knows after he made it a shadow path to its friend on the edge of faerie.
- The shroudling says they like killing vampires and "broken ones" (those who break oaths)
- tells of an anti-vampire flower on the green island whose odor repels vampires over a large area. Also tea brewed from it makes ones blood taste bad to vampires. The Green gives a seed pod to Silas.
- Jericho - Jericho is in Chaos, seeking a weapon against the Unicorn. The Chaos High Priest proposes a deal to kill it. He sends a servant with a Chaos Dagger that appparently is capable of dealing a fatal wound to the Unicorn, which Jericho would get if he agrees to the deal. He mulls it over. While doing so he trumps Silas, and asks if he has a secure room where they cannot be spied upon. Silas nods and indicates he has such a room aboard his ship. Jericho prepares to go, but he also wants more answers on what the Chaosians are up to, so he grabs a chaos servant who had entered his room and drags him across the trump to the Envoy, and they enter the secure room. The servant cannot provide much information before the requirements of his existance…. that being that he is in the Courts of Chaos…. are unmet, and thus chokes and gurgles and dissolves into a bubbling goo. At this point,
- Dworkin trumps Jericho, despite them being in a room that normally blocks trump. Jericho touches Silas, so he is in on the communication, as is Isabel via his mind-link. Dworkin reveals much info:
- He can teach Jericho how to unlink himself from the Pattern, but he advises against it.
- The Founding documents of Amber say that to Rule in Amber, you MUST have the Unicorn's blessing
- Mentions Anastasia, but then remembers she died… (see other campaign)
- He advises against trying to kill the Unicorn. The unicorn is one of a few Elder Ones that have been around far longer than Dworkin, as is the Serpent and the Golden Child.
- Silas suggests we try to get these beings to fight each other directly instead of via agents, but Dworkin is horrified at the idea. He says there were once more, but only about one third survive, the results of a cataclysmic battle in the dawn of time when just such a battle occurred.
- The Abyss is a dead creature of the level of the Unicorn and Serpent's level that died in that confrontation.
- Those creatures outdate the Sorcerer Kings by a LONG shot
- Dworkin trumps Jericho, despite them being in a room that normally blocks trump. Jericho touches Silas, so he is in on the communication, as is Isabel via his mind-link. Dworkin reveals much info:
- Elodie - talks to someone in prison about breaking their curse
- Silas - heads to the castle to start a garden for his new seed
- Landscaping crew sets up on Serpent Isle
- Isabelle - makes the smashed tower trump
- Watches the battle of the tower… wow.
- Ulfr -
- Jericho - Eric re: stop trying to be king, just…
- Jericho doesn't think Eric has a chance to be king, doesn't think he has that many elder Amberites behind him, suspecting it is only Julian. Eric counters by listing those he has already recruited to his cause:
- After this Eric tells Jericho to call Gérard, who verifies that he is indeed backing Eric, based on his time in the government of both monarchs. This leaves only Fiona, Bleys, Corwin, Diedre… and possibly Brand opposed to Eric, though not necessarily united, with Bendict and Lewella he expects to stay out of the way. Jericho still has some doubts due to the statement from Dworkin that one needs the Unicorn's blessing, but has a lot to think on now…
